Things to check before installing a cold storage air cooler: Core tip: After unpacking the cold storage air cooler, check whether the components are loose, and retighten them if necessary; check whether the fan blades of the axial flow fan are securely installed on the motor shaft, and inspect the fan blades and guards.

1. After unpacking the cold storage air cooler, check whether any parts are loose. If any are loose, retighten them;

2. Check whether the fan blades of the axial flow fan are securely installed on the motor shaft, and whether the fan blades are touching the protective cover;

3. If the air cooler is damaged or deformed due to transportation, it should be repaired before being lifted;

4. Before leaving the factory, air coolers are pressurized with nitrogen and sealed with capillary tubes. Before installation, remove the sealing capillary tube. If there is an airflow sound, it indicates that the evaporator tube of the air cooler is sealed well and can be used with confidence. If there is no airflow sound, it indicates that there is a leak in the evaporator tube, and inspection should be conducted before installation.

5. The bolts for the D-type ceiling-mounted air cooler are hoisted onto the ceiling inside the warehouse, with the hole spacing referring to the instructions of the air cooler;

6. The ceiling-mounted air cooler should be installed at a distance of 250-300mm from the wall (for fans with a diameter of 400mm or less) to facilitate the circulation of cold air within the cold storage and for maintenance purposes;

7. After installation, the ceiling-mounted air cooler should be ensured to be horizontal;

8. The drain pipe of the air cooler leading to the outside of the cold storage should have a certain slope to ensure that the defrosting water can be smoothly discharged outside the cold storage. The connecting pipe outside the cold storage should be curved into a U-shape, and a certain liquid seal should be maintained inside the pipe to prevent a large amount of hot air outside the cold storage from entering the cold storage;

9. Insulation should be added to the exterior of the drainage pipe in the cold storage. In cases where the temperature inside the storage falls below -20℃, an electric heating tube should be added inside the drainage pipe to prevent the defrosting water from freezing during the drainage process;

10. When installing the expansion valve, the temperature sensing bulb must be tightly fastened to the upper part of the horizontal return pipe and ensure good contact with the return pipe. Moisturizing should be applied outside the return pipe to prevent the temperature sensing bulb from being affected by the temperature of the storage area;

11. The outlet of the air cooler should avoid beams or columns to prevent affecting the air supply range.

12. The electrical wiring box for the D-type Freon ceiling-mounted air cooler is designed on the left side of the front of the air cooler. The wiring box comes in two specifications: one for low-power defrosting electric heating tubes with a capacity of less than 22 square meters, and the other for defrosting electric heating tubes in air coolers with a capacity of 30 square meters or more, which adopts a Y-shaped connection method. Due to the unbalanced load of the three-phase electric heating tubes, users must connect the neutral wire when wiring. Additionally, in case one phase of the electric heating tube overheats and burns out, it will not cause overload of the other two phases of electric heating tubes;

13. When the defrosting electric heating tube is turned on, the fan power must be disconnected to prevent hot air from being blown into the storage during defrosting;

14. The defrosting cycle is adjusted by the defroster to defrost 1-4 times per day and night, with each defrosting duration adjusted according to the thickness of the frost and the speed of freezing;

15. The defroster should have a delay function, so that the fan of the air cooler cannot be started immediately after the defrosting is completed.
